Yesterday, we took part in the Landowners & Developers Forum, where Aliseda was a Leading Partner. The event addressed one of the real estate sector’s key challenges: land management as a strategic driver for real estate development and for meeting the current demands of Spain’s housing market.
During the event, Eduard Mendiluce, CEO of Aliseda, and Luis Alonso, Land Director at Aliseda, participated in two panel discussions, where they shared their insights into the main factors currently shaping Spain’s land market.
Eduard highlighted the emerging trends we are identifying at Aliseda: “Managing a land portfolio valued at more than €2 billion enables us to anticipate market trends and understand where demand is heading. We are seeing growing interest from international asset managers, family offices, and investors specialising in land development opportunities, with significant transaction volumes and medium-term development horizons.”
Luis, meanwhile, emphasised Aliseda’s capabilities as a real estate consultancy and asset manager, supporting land management throughout the entire value chain—from identifying opportunities and managing planning processes to enhancing asset value and commercialisation. Today, Aliseda has achieved nearly €450 million in land sales, 50% of which correspond to non-serviced land, highlighting the importance of working with assets that offer significant development potential and long-term value creation.
