Driving energy improvement in the Spanish economy.

Through EFFIC, we support both homeowners’ communities and companies in improving the energy efficiency of their buildings and processes. We do this by refurbishing assets and optimising energy consumption, thereby contributing to meeting their decarbonisation targets.
Energy Savings Certificates

We optimise energy consumption and generate liquidity with the Certificado de Ahorro Energético (CAE) or Energy Savings Certificate

The CAE system is a mechanism that allows companies and individuals to obtain economic benefits through the certification and sale of energy savings generated by refurbishment and other energy efficiency improvements.

EFFIC, as a leader in Spain in the management of energy-efficient property refurbishment, is a CAE representative certified by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO).

Since 2024, we have incorporated the accreditation and marketing service of these CAEs to promote and facilitate improved energy efficiency.

If energy efficiency work, adaptation, rehabilitation or installation has been started from January 2023 onwards, the initiative can be recognised and certified, so part of the investment can be recovered.
