The company brings together nearly 200 investors, developers, and industry professionals to analyze opportunities in the new real estate cycle.

This week, Barcelona hosted the event “ALISEDA - Commercial Real Estate: A New Turning Point,” an event organized by Aliseda at Casa Fuster to analyze the evolution of the real estate market, the opportunities of the new cycle, and the trends that will shape the future of Commercial Real Estate in Spain.

During the event, Eduard Mendiluce, CEO of Aliseda, highlighted the company’s role as a strategic partner for investors, family offices, developers, and property owners, as well as its ability to support the entire asset lifecycle: from opportunity identification and market analysis to structuring, transformation, repositioning, and commercialization of projects.

Currently, Aliseda manages a diversified portfolio of more than €1.5 billion in CRE assets nationwide, with a presence across segments such as offices, industrial, logistics, retail, hospitality, shopping centers, and alternative assets. In addition, over the past nine months, the company has originated more than €2.7 billion in off-market real estate opportunities from over 170 clients.

The event also featured key industry figures such as Xavier Vilajoana, President of APCEspaña; Íñigo Fernández de Mesa, Vice President of CEOE and President of Rothschild & Co Spain; Carmina Ganyet, Chief Corporate Officer at Colonial; and Ignasi Costas, Co-Managing Partner at RCD, who shared their perspectives on the current market environment, the evolution of real estate capital, and the opportunities emerging in the new cycle.

During the event, several key sector trends were discussed, including the growing interest in prime locations, value-add strategies, NPL portfolios, mixed-use assets, sustainability, data centers, and the role of Tier 2 cities, where the scarcity of high-quality product is creating new opportunities for development and asset repositioning.

In addition, Luis Alonso, Head of Land, discussed the role of land as a key lever to activate new developments and generate value in a context marked by a shortage of quality product and the need to promote viable projects aligned with current demand.

To close the event, Fernando López, Commercial Director at Aliseda, presented several case studies that reflect the company’s ability to transform tertiary assets, optimize occupancy, adapt uses to current demand, and enhance their market value.
